So, you've finished Game of Thrones (well, almost) and you're getting impatient waiting for the final installment of Rothfuss' Kingkiller Chronicles. It's time to start on Scott Lynch's swashbuckling tale of thieves, friendship and more adventure than one book should be able to hold. George RR Martin called the book "gorgeously realized" and the title character "an engaging rogue" — which is probably the best way to describe Locke Lamora. Devilish, clever and loyal, Locke Lamora and his band of Gentleman Thieves make a name for themselves as the best in the biz — and with such a title comes, of course, a number of enemies. Lynch plans on making this into a series, with the 2nd already published and a third on the way, so the adventure will continue for more than one book. For fans of George RR Martin, Robin Hobbs, Patrick Rothfuss — this is not a book to be missed! - Anne
