This graphic memoir is about the life and the works of Yoshihiro Tatsumi. It’s quite a heavy lift with the 800 plus pages, but definitely worth the cranium space. It gives history to how the Japanese manga history has evolved and how it has affected different manga artists to the present day. This specific work by Tatsumi is a collaboration of almost ten years of work. The knowledge you gather while reading this book is remarkable, even if you’re an avid manga reader. - Krysten
