KIDS EVENT - CLUB READ - P.J. HAARSMA: THE SOFTWIRE SERIES 2PM Join us for free pizza, activities, a fun multimedia presentation and more with P.J. Haarsma, bestselling author of The Softwire series. The featured book will be Virus on Orbis 1. Thirteen-year-old Johnny Turnbull has always known there was something different about him, even before he and two hundred other kids landed on the first ring of Orbis. But once their spaceship lands, he is identified as the first-ever softwire -- a human with the ability to enter and communicate with computers through his mind. When Johnny and the other refugee orphans are put to work in alien factories, the all-knowing, all-controlling, and technologically perfect central computer starts malfunctioning, and suspicious eyes turn to Johnny. Is he the one responsible? More info and Softwire video game at TheSoftwire.com. SEATING begins one hour before the event. Lettered tickets (free with book purchase) will be called alphabetically to fill seats and will also be used to form the booksigning line. Seating opens to the general public fifteen minutes before the event, so please arrive early, as space is limited. CAN’T MAKE IT?
