Children's book author Sheri Cooper Sinykin (Zayde Comes to Live and Giving Up the Ghost) shares a presentation for adults on how to discuss death with children.
She discusses how she came to write two children's books about death and ways of introducing the topic to the children you love. She ends with a reading of Zayde Comes to Live, her newest picture book.
ABOUT THE AUTHOR
SHERI COOPER SINYKIN is the author of 19 books for children, including Giving Up the Ghost and Zayde Comes to Live. She received her BA in Communications-Journalism from Stanford University and a MFA in Writing for Children from Vermont College. After working as a hospice volunteer, a newspaper reporter, and a hospital PR director in Madison, Wisconsin, Sheri now divides her time equally between Massachusetts and Sun Lakes, Arizona.
