7PM WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 1 Michele Hébert: The Tenth Door
Michele Hébert
Award-winning memoirist Michele Hébert shares the "five essential keys to maintaining awareness through the ups and downs of your spiritual path" in her memoir, The Tenth Door: An Adventure Through the Jungles of Enlightenment. Hébert recounts the stunning story of her spiritual training with legendary yoga master Walt Baptiste. She recounts her experiences in San Francisco and the years-long stints of near solitude in the jungles of El Salvador. There, at Baptiste's health and spiritual retreat, she came face to face with challenges that tested her devotion, her carefully cultivated yogic discipline, and even her earthly existence. Event attendees receive a complimentary copy of Hébert's Self Healing CD as supplies allow.
