WORKSHOP: LEGAL ISSUES FOR WRITERS & ARTISTS      7-8:30PM

Attorney Jennifer Lefere of the Hool Law Group, whose practice is concentrated in the areas of copyrights, trademarks, corporate law, and regulation, discusses intellectual property law as it relates to authors, the publishing industry, and artists' rights, and touching on emerging technologies like e-books. Presented in conjunction with the Volunteer Legal Assistance for Artists (VLAA) pro-bono student organization through the ASU College of Law. COST: FREE. The VLAA also provides clinic opportunities, by appointment only, for writers and artists to meet with an attorney one-on-one for an hour of free legal guidance. More info: www.artsadvocacy.org.
