"The Crafty Chica," Kathy Cano-Murillo: Waking Up in the Land of Glitter

Legendary local author and crafter Kathy Cano-Murillo, aka “The Crafty Chica,” visits with her debut novel, Waking Up in the Land of Glitter. The Craft Olympics is coming to Arizona, and struggling Ofelia is determined to bring home the gold. As the competition heats up and Ofy, her friend Estella, and their rival Chloe are forced to team up, Estrella will learn Chloe's dirty little secret, why crafting means so much to Ofelia, and that beauty, art, and creativity can take on many more forms than canvas in a gallery. Cano-Murillo writes from experience -- she has seven craft books under her belt, a web series on LifetimeTV.com, appearances on HGTV and NPR, and an extensive Crafty Chica craft line. SEATING begins one hour before the event. Lettered tickets (free with book purchase) will be called alphabetically to fill seats and will also be used to form the booksigning line. Each ticket is good for two seats. Seating opens to the general public fifteen minutes before the event, so please arrive early, as space is limited.
