Landon J. Napoleon, whose acclaimed debut novel, ZigZag, inspired a film of the same name starring Oliver Platt and Wesley Snipes, launches his new legal thriller, The Rules of Action. In the 1960s and '70s, many of the nation's elderly are victims of widespread nursing home abuse—human beings warehoused in the name of profit. Phoenix lawyer Connor J. Devlin, fresh out of law school, won't stand for it. Amid the confusing landscape of the Vietnam War, Jimmy Carter, Playboy Clubs, disco nights, and the Iran hostage crisis, Devlin must learn the legal ropes while taking on a big business establishment bent on crushing any challengers. The Rules of Action is inspired by the real life and career of one of America's most successful lawyers.

TICKETS (free with book purchase) will be called alphabetically to fill seats and will also be used to form the booksigning line. Seating opens to the general public fifteen minutes before the event, so please arrive early, as space is limited.
