Eduardo Obregón Pagán | Remembering Phoenix | PBS's The History Detectives star presents collection of historic photos

09/14/2010 7:00 pm
Meet Eduardo Obregón Pagán
7pm Tuesday, September 14

Pagán, the newest investigator on the hit PBS show The History Detectives, presents his collection of historic photos, Remembering Phoenix.

With the coming of the railroad in the late nineteenth century, the town of Phoenix in the Territory of Arizona would experience a rapid inflow of settlers who would go on to call themselves Phoenicians and help bring about Arizona statehood in 1912. With a collection of remarkable black-and-white photos, Pagán provides a revealing historical retrospective on the growth and development of this unique desert community, from its early days to the recent past.

TICKETS (free with book purchase) will be called alphabetically to fill seats and will also be used to form the booksigning line. Seating opens to the general public fifteen minutes before the event, so please arrive early, as space is limited.
