ABOUT THE STORYTELLERS
Ace aka Capt'n Ace
Ace is an educator, youth advocate, and storyteller. Despite all odds and probable indications of narcissism (such as naming themself Ace), Ace was honored with the 2017 Team Player Award at the Smithsonian Early Enrichment Center in Washington, DC.

While in DC, Ace also obtained a Ph.B in Philosophy, which lends itself marvelously to Ace's ability to withstand mobs of small children asking "Why?". This is in addition to their ongoing work with teens developing newfound respect for Hiddegarian Angst.

TOM LEVEEN is the author of several books for teens, including Random, Sick, manicpixiedreamgirl, Party, and Zero, which was a YALSA Best Book of 2013. A frequent speaker at schools and conferences, Tom was previously the artistic director and cofounder of an all-ages, nonprofit visual and performing venue in Scottsdale, Arizona. He is currently an Early Literacy Specialist with the Phoenix Public Library.
