Tween Writing Workshop: Motion Pictures to Picture Books

In this action-packed workshop, former DreamWorks animator Molly Idle teaches young writers (ages 8-13) visual storytelling techniques used in film making and how they can be translated to the printed page to create unique and engaging illustrated stories.
Molly has worked on several animated features including Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron. She has also written and illustrated numerous books for young readers, including Pennies from Heaven and Brother, Can You Spare a Dime?.
