iPAD / iPHONE / iTOUCH



iOS You can read your Kobo eBooks on iOS devices (e.g. iPad, iPhone, and iPod Touch) by downloading the Kobo app from the App Store.
  1. If you haven't already, create your new Kobo/Changing Hands account by clicking here.
  2. Search for "Kobo" in the App Store from your Apple device, and download the app.
  3. On your device, look for the Kobo app with the rest of your installed apps. Launch it and sign in to your Kobo account. You're all set; it's that easy!

NOOK



Nook Use Adobe® Digital Editions to transfer Kobo eBooks to your E-Ink eReader.
  1. If you haven't already, create your new Kobo/Changing Hands account by clicking here.
  2. Download Adobe® Digital Editions to your computer, install the application, and set up an Adobe® ID.
  3. To download your already purchased book, visit the Kobo Store, sign in to your account, and click "My Library" (near the top of the page).
  4. In your list of Kobo eBooks, find the book you want, and select a file type to download (Adobe® DRM ePUB or Adobe® DRM PDF, depending on what the book's publisher decided to make available).
  5. Locate the file, called URLLink.acsm on your computer and double click it to open it in Adobe® Digital Editions. You can also open the file by launching Adobe® Digital Editions and selecting File > Import Files from the menu.
  6. Once your book has been added to your Adobe® Digital Editions Library, connect your eReader to your computer. If necessary, follow the prompts to authorize your computer and device using the Adobe® ID you created in Step 1.
  7. Your eReader Library will appear on the left side of the Adobe® Digital Editions window. Drag the book from your Adobe® Digital Editions Library to the eReader icon to transfer it to your E-ink eReader device.


SONY READER AND OTHER E-INK DEVICES



Sony Reader Use Adobe® Digital Editions to transfer Kobo eBooks to your E-Ink eReader.
  1. If you haven't already, create your new Kobo/Changing Hands account by clicking here.
  2. Download Adobe® Digital Editions to your computer, install the application, and set up an Adobe® ID.
  3. To download your already purchased book, visit the Kobo Store, sign in to your account, and click "My Library" (near the top of the page).
  4. In your list of Kobo eBooks, find the book you want, and select a file type to download (Adobe® DRM ePUB or Adobe® DRM PDF, depending on what the book's publisher decided to make available).

Mac and PC Launch the Kobo Desktop App and sign in to instantly access all the eBooks you've purchased on any platform on your desktop or laptop.
  1. If you haven't already, create your new Kobo/Changing Hands account by clicking here.
  2. Download the software from Kobo's website.
  3. Install and launch the application.
  4. Sign into your Kobo account. If you have access to the internet, the app will automatically sync your library and bookmarks.
