About the Author
Louise Verity is a dressmaker. Having designed everything from singer Prince's trousers to sumptuous Elizabethan wedding dresses, she turned to children's writing. She was inspired by the artwork of Audrey Niffenegger's The Three Incestuous Sisters and the moral intent of Jacqueline Wilson's books.
