A selection of cast members from NBC's longest-running drama series visit to sign a commemorative photographic look back at the show's five decades on air.
BILL HAYES: Bill Hayes is a long-time actor and Billboard Hot 100 #1 recording artist. He then delved into acting in 1970, playing Doug Williams on Days. Hayes originated the character of Doug and is the only actor to have ever played that role. Even decades later, Bill still reoccurs on the show as the iconic Doug Williams. In 2005, he and his wife, costar Susan Hayes, published their joint autobiography, Like Sands Through The Hourglass.
SUSAN HAYES: Hollywood-native, Susan Hayes is best known for her portrayal of Julie Williams on Days, whom she started playing in 1968.Mrs. Hayes is the only actor to appear on the show for all six decades it has been on the air. Much like her husband, Julie still appears on Days as Julie. Her onscreen and real-life romance with co-star Bill Hayes was widely covered by both the soap opera magazines and the mainstream press (they married in 1974). The characters of Doug and Julie were daytime TV's 's first "supercouple." Their appearance together on the January 12, 1976 cover of Time magazine was the first time daytime actors had appeared there.
JAMES REYNOLDS: After nine years as the stalwart Abe Carver on Days, Reynolds briefly moved to Generations where he was rewarded with an Emmy nomination as Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series for his portrayal of entrepreneur Henry Marshall. When Generations ceased production, Reynolds rejoined the cast of Days, and is now celebrating his 11th year on the show.
ERIC MARTSOLF: Eric Martsolf joined the cast of Days as the new Brady Black. Martsolf has also had a starring role on the soap opera Passions, where played he played fan favorite Ethan Winthrop, and is known for his part as the Pharaoh in Andrew Lloyd Webber's Joseph & the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, in which he toured nationally for four years. He recently guest-starred in primetime dramas Rizzoli & Isles and Extant.
GREG VAUGHAN: A daytime star, Greg has played on numerous soaps including The Young and the Restless, General Hospital, and currently plays Eric Brady on Days. From 1999-2000, Greg held a series regular role as boy-next-door Dan Gordon on Charmed and was named as "One of the Sexiest Men Alive" by People Magazine in 2002.
CAMILLA BANUS: Camilla Banus got her first taste of daytime TV in 2008 while working as Lola on One Life to Live. Banus is currently working as Gabriella Hernandez on Days.
ARIANNE ZUCKER: Arianne Zucker is an Emmy nominated actress who has played many different roles and is best known for her role as Nicole Walker on Days. Born in Southern California, Zucker is part of Africa Rising – a social development organization for youth leadership in Africa, through a partnership between her charity, Arrow Heart (formerly LifeChange), and the Ndaba Mandela Organization in South Africa.
MEREDITH SCOTT LYNN: Meredith Scott Lynn has played Anne Milbauer on Days since 2012. Beforehand, she has appeared in Legally Blonde, A Night at the Roxbury, and appeared on shows such as Family Guy, The Pursuit of Happiness, and The Marshall Chronicles.
