Peter H. Eichstaedt | The Dangerous Divide

7PM THURSDAY, MAY 15
Peter H. Eichstaedt | The Dangerous Divide: Peril and Promise on the US-Mexico Border
Peter Eichstaedt

The veteran journalist and author of First Kill Your Family and Above the Din of War presents his new book on the hot-button issue of border control between Mexico and the United States.

Between research and interviews with migrants, border security advocates, and the leaders of communities ravaged by cross-border crime from Tucson to El Paso, he paints a picture of the deadly circumstances on both sides of the border—arguing that reform, not bigger and better barricades, is the way forward.
