The Maricopa Audubon Society presents a morning of hands-on interactive fun for kids ages 6-12 and their families.
Learn how to recognize the myriad feathered friends that live among—and above!—us, and why they matter so much. Attendees will identify common birds of Arizona, make a bird-inspired craft, participate in the reading of poetry and stories with the crew of the kids' podcast Buttons and Figs, and a visit by Liberty Wildlife Rescue, who will attend with very special feathered guests - a vulture, a kestrel and an EAGLE!
