#1 New York Times bestselling novelist and memoirist behind The Idiot Girls' Action-Adventure Club hosts a humor writing workshop.

Notaro focuses on how to reach humor and bring it into your writing; looking analytically at what makes something funny, then using in-class writing exercises and discussion to demonstrate where to put it and how to pull off that elusive punch line. The workshop will also cover rhythm in humor writing, the essential element of timing, and subject matter.

WORKSHOP DETAILS
  • Cost: $35.
  • Register below or call 602.274.0067.
  • Refunds will not be issued within three days of the event.
