Rumena Buzarovska: I'm Not Going Anywhere
6PM WEDNESDAY, MARCH 1

This event is free and open to the public. No registration required.
Changing Hands Bookstore and ASU's Melikian Center present author and literary translator Rumina Buzarovska and her razor-sharp story collection I'm Not Going Anywhere, described as "Jane Austen for contemporary feminists unafraid to confront a dark world."
ABOUT THE BOOK
In her latest translated volume, Buzarovska delivers more of what established her as one of the most interesting writers working in Europe today. Already a bestseller across her native Macedonia, this is an unsentimental and hyperrealist collection in which Macedonians leave their country of origin to escape bleakness—only to find new kinds of desolation.
ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Rumena Buzarovska is a fiction writer and literary translator from Skopje, North Macedonia. Buzarovska's short stories have been translated into several languages. "Waves" and "Lily" appeared in Best European Fiction 2016 and Contemporary Macedonian Fiction
