His skill in showcasing elevated comfort classics with seasonal ingredients earned him a 2012 nomination as Food & Wine magazine’s People’s Best New Chef along with a score of local “best new restaurant” and “best comfort food” nods. In 2016, he opened his second restaurant, Southern Rail, an homage to American classics with a Southern twist.
