Do you struggle to get from the day after Thanksgiving to the day after New Year's? Or are you already wrapped in tinsel—cookies and egg nog at the ready? Either way, you likely have a story or two to tell about your own Christmases (and Hanukkahs) past. In this workshop, local writer and Phoenix New Times editor Amy Silverman will offer basic memoir writing tips and tricks to help you get the stories on paper. Cost: $25. Register and pre-pay at 480.730.0205. Silverman's workshops filled quickly in July and August and sold out, so be sure to register early!
