CHANGING HANDS 50TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION
Since the beginning, on April Fool's Day 1974, Changing Hands has served as a community gathering place, bringing readers together through books and ideas.
While the book world has changed around us—from the rise of corporate chains and online giants to the advent of e-books, digital audiobooks, and the ongoing consolidation of the publishing industry—Changing Hands remains. Locally owned and operated. Fiercely independent. We continue to adapt, to grow, and to champion new voices and ideas. And we have you to thank for it. You've helped make Changing Hands an enduring Valley institution, and we're grateful.
Join us as we commemorate the 50th Anniversary of the founding of Changing Hands! We’ll be celebrating throughout the year with author events, workshops, poetry readings, and more, with a big party on Saturday, March 30 to thank you for making us your local independent bookstore. So save the date, and stay tuned for more details!
