If you ask some of the most popular comedians out there today who is their favorite comic, there is a very high likelihood they will say it is the one and only Joey "Coco" Diaz. With a life full of enough drugs to kill a rhino, theft all over the U.S. and prison time after being arrested for kidnapping, it is safe to say that Diaz has lived a full life and then some. Every page is heartfelt and sincere while still remaining gut bustingly hilarious. You just have to hear it all from the man himself to believe such outrageous story.

I never thought I would form such an emotional attachment to a gender fluid, extraterrestrial, tentacled alien who only wants to eat humans and get laid. This is such a unique and fresh read for someone like me who loves things like epic space operas and galaxy spanning battles. This book written from the perspective of an alien creature makes me laugh one page and have deep thoughts of morality and what it means to be human the next. But at the end of the day I really have to say the main message I got from this book was simple. STAIRS ARE THE DEVIL!

To know something is to have it disappear. What does it mean to be seen? These are two of the things that are explored in this one of a kind tale.
